PetroCAL is a free to use web-based tool for conducting calibration and verification of fuel dispensers, in compliance with the Australian National Measurement Institute's guidelines (NITP 5.1 Fuel Dispensers other than LPG Dispensers). It is therefore only useful and applicable for use by licensed NMI Verifiers within Australia, or those acting on behalf of an NMI licensee — and more specifically only applicable to Retail Fuel sites (read why).
Using this tool you can;
- Capture all relevant job, site, test, measure, instrument and hose details
- Enter calibration test results - with automatic calculation, automatic validation of NMI requirements, and clear pass/fail results
- Create a test report as per the NMI's reference for easy printing or PDF creation
- Download an automatically populated Form 6 spreadsheet compliant with NMI requirements
